Privacy Policy

Account information. Your name, email address, phone number, and password when you create an account. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email from that provider.

Booking information. The service you book, the date and time, notes you add, and the service address you provide for in-home appointments.

Professional information. If you list as a beauty professional: business name, service area, services and pricing, availability, portfolio photos, and documents you send us for verification (licenses, certifications, government ID, social media handle).

Payment information. Card details are entered directly with Stripe and are never stored on Poshlucia servers. We keep a record of amounts, fees, tips, payout status, and refunds.

Messages and support. Messages between clients and professionals, reviews, and support requests you send us.

Usage data. Basic device and log information used to keep the service secure and working correctly.

Your home or service address is held privately. It is not visible while a professional is reviewing or deciding on a request. The full address is released to the professional only once the booking is confirmed, and only to the professional performing that appointment. It is never shown publicly, never shown in search results, and never shared with other clients.

To create and manage your account; to show relevant professionals and availability; to process bookings, payments, platform fees, tips, refunds, and professional payouts; to enable messaging and reviews; to verify professionals; to prevent fraud and abuse of the referral program; to send booking, account, and support emails; and to comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Beauty professionals — your name, contact details, booking details, and (after confirmation) your service address.

Stripe — payment processing and professional payouts, subject to Stripe’s own privacy policy.

Service providers — hosting, database, and email delivery partners who process data on our behalf.

Legal — when required by law, or to protect the safety and rights of our users.

We keep account and booking records for as long as your account is active, and afterwards only as long as needed for tax, accounting, dispute, and legal purposes.

You can view and edit your profile at any time from your account page. You can delete your account yourself from Account → Delete my account. Deleting removes your profile and personal details; records we are required to keep for financial and legal reasons are retained in de-identified form where possible.

You may also request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion by emailing us.

Poshlucia is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted by per-user permission rules, and payment card data is handled entirely by Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you if a breach affects you.

If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in the app.
