Terms of Service

Poshlucia is a marketplace. We introduce clients to independent beauty professionals and handle booking, messaging, and payment. We do not employ professionals and we do not perform beauty services ourselves. Each professional is an independent business responsible for their own work, licensing, insurance, supplies, and taxes.

You must be at least 18 years old. Keep your login details secure and give us accurate information. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

A request becomes an appointment once the professional confirms it. Your service address is shared with the professional only at that point. Arrive or be available at the agreed time, and make sure the space is safe and suitable for the service.

Professionals set their own services, prices, availability, and travel area. Disclose allergies, sensitivities, or relevant health conditions before the appointment.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Poshlucia charges a platform fee of 7% to the client and 7% to the professional on the service total. The client fee is shown clearly before you confirm.

100% of tips go to the professional. We take no share of tips.

Payouts to professionals are made through Stripe on Stripe’s schedule, after the appointment is completed.

Cancel through the app as early as possible. Cancellation windows and any fees are shown at the time of booking and may vary by professional. If a professional cancels or does not show, you are refunded the service amount and the client platform fee.

If something goes wrong, contact us through support and we will review the booking.

Every account has a unique referral code. Joining with someone’s code waives the client platform fee on your first booking. The person who referred you receives a waiver on their next booking once your first appointment is paid for. One joining waiver per person — duplicate contact details do not qualify, and we may withhold rewards or remove codes where we detect abuse. Waivers apply only to the client platform fee; they do not affect the service price, tips, or the professional’s payout. The house code grants the joining benefit only.

A gold verified badge means Poshlucia has reviewed a public safety record check, confirmed a business presence, verified licenses and certifications, verified identification, and confirmed at least three successful bookings on the app. It is a review of the records we were given at a point in time, not a guarantee of any outcome. Badges can be removed at our discretion.

Reviews must be honest and based on a real appointment. Do not post content that is false, harassing, hateful, obscene, or that infringes someone else’s rights. You keep ownership of photos and text you upload and grant Poshlucia a licence to display them in the app and in promotion of the marketplace. We may remove content that breaks these rules.

Professionals must hold all licences and certifications required by Florida law for the services they offer, keep them current, follow sanitation and safety requirements, and describe their services and pricing accurately. Contact details may be requested for verification at any time.

Do not arrange payment off-platform to avoid fees, impersonate others, scrape or misuse the service, interfere with the app’s operation, or use Poshlucia for anything unlawful. Soliciting or offering services of a sexual nature is strictly prohibited and results in permanent removal.

Poshlucia is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or outcome of any service performed by an independent professional. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability relating to a booking is limited to the amount of platform fees we received for that booking.

You may delete your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or if we need to protect users.

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the effective date above. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
